In its 58th consecutive season of delivering local high school sports to the greater Shawnee area, ShawneeCTV is expanding.

“We’ve been privileged in the relationships that have nurtured our vision of complete high school sports delivered through video since our first season – the Shawnee Wolves 2003 Football State Championship season. Our offerings have been stable since then with roughly 50 high school sports, live and on demand, since that season. Welcoming the North Rock Creek Cougars and their fine students, teachers, parents and administration to the ShawneeCTV fold extends our privilege and we are working diligently to make our 58th consecutive season our best ever.”

Shaughnessy, a 1980 NRC MS graduate, also stressed, “Danie and I have 6 children, all of whom are Shawnee High School graduates, whom we could not be more proud. We owe a debt to our local Shawnee High School and see a bigger and even more powerful relationship with SPS growing into the future. We love our entire community.”

ShawneeCTV are scheduled to produce ‘Live’ and “on-demand” over (70) seventy local high school sports offering in the 2021-22 school year. With NRC facing off against other like-sized area high schools, more kids than ever will be able to watch their high school athlete heroes perform on their fields of dreams.

ShawneeCTV regularly covers three seasons each school year- (Fall) Softball, Volleyball, Football; (Winter) Swimming, Wrestling, Basketball; (Spring) Baseball, Soccer, and now NRC Slow-pitch. Peppered in through the years Golf, Cross Country, Tennis and Track have all also received attention through specially produced programming.

From the beginning, ShawneeCTV has boasted, Together We Build Community One Season At A Time! – Through consistent positive, powerful messaging, the motto stands true.
